Oh, for heaven’s sake! Did you really think I’d write an essay on non-photography? I am a narcissist, but you may have mistakenly thought of me as a nihilist. Whether the two isms are mutually exclusive I cannot or will not say.

I do claim to be the photographer who did not make a certain fine photograph that I recently didn’t show you, and I am pleased to be the author of this insightful essay that I have not yet written and which you are therefore not yet reading.

Stay tuned, though. I may or may not have more to say on this subject.
