WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?

On the first day of winter, on a farm in
Galloway County, Wisconsin, David Fischer
tramped through slushy snow for more than
an hour at mid-day, searching for a deer-
damaged Christmas tree for the home
in which he lives alone. He did find the
tree at last. But before he happened
upon it, Fischer found, in the still,
near-silent shelter of big spruces,
a perfect place to meet the Lord Jesus.
