Dad, From Above, 1984

TWO MEN THE SAME AGE
When I was thirty-five years old,
I shot a certain photo of my father,
who was at that time fifty-eight. Im
sure I didnt give a moments thought
that day to how young or old Dad looked,
for a fellow of his age.
But now two dozen years have lapsed
and Im the one whos fifty-eight (while
Dad has reached age eighty-two). If
I put the same subject on film again,
I shall likely view the man
in a somewhat different light.
