Day late...sugar-less...
I called you yesterday before I went to Costco...musta slipped your mind...
From: David C. Fischer <d—@juno.com>
To: Deborah Ann Albertini <d—@yahoo.com>
Date: Thu, 6 May 2010 13:15:04 -0500
Subject: Copps Request (Revised).
Deborah Ann!
If butter is $2 or less, please pick up like four of them. You said you are going to Copps for yourself, right? Don't go special on my account.
The cane sugar didn't slip my mind; it slipped my list. I find that shopping lists and other lists work best when I remember to look at them.
If I may script your kindness for you, I'll suggest instead of your saying "Want anything at Costco?" say, "Hey, fool. What's on your Costco list?"
I'll say, "Huh?" and then you say again, "What's on your Costco list? Dave, are you looking at your Costco list? The one in your Day-Timer? Nothing? Are you sure? Are you sure you're sure? Positive? Really? Okay, well, how about sugar, Dave, don't you want any sugar?"
Then when I say, "Would you kindly stop your nagging," you say, "This isn't nagging. How much sugar do you want? And do you want me to get you some motorcycle boots with sole extenders if Costco has them?"
Love, Dave
