I HAVEN’T HEARD
Haven’t heard from you in a while. I really wish you would call.

If so, call.
If not, then do you suppose that somebody else, not me, but somebody somewhere, is quite probably thinking of you today and wishing you would call?
If so, I encourage you: Call.
Yes. Call. I’m not talking about writing, wishing, blogging, texting, fuming, e-mailing, no. Call. Pick up your phone and call. In my opinion, Ma Bell got it right when she suggested Reach Out and Touch Someone. Call, call, pick up your phone and call.
Oh, it’s not risk-free, I know. And the reward for calling is not guaranteed, this I also realize. But if you call and you’re glad you did, let me know. And if you call and you regret it, go ahead and call me and tell me so. I’ll permit you to weep on my shoulder and you can try to convince me I steered you wrong.
