Behind the barn this week I saw a wren, the first I recall seeing since moving back to Fjord. When I was a kid, they were scarce here, too. I wonder what the appeal is, of a wren. In size and coloration she’s not much different from a sparrow, but in motion far more charming, wouldn’t most anyone agree?
