Thanks for sending the Coke Light commercial, an extraordinarily entrancing and rich little piece of filmmaking. Could not slow it, could not pause it, so I watched it in its entirety at least twelve times and tried a couple times more to catch the opening shot of the dress drenched in sunlight and seawater and the penultimate shot of the man’s hand sliding upward on the soda can with depth compressed by the camera’s long lens so that the backs of his fingers seem to be grazing what they should not graze. Wonderful soundtrack seems to include human vocalizations. Despite my dozen viewings, I could not absorb all that was implied.
