Winona, 2012 © 2012 by Bud Grossmann HOT ENOUGH FOR YOU? Yes, thank you, Minnesota was like an oven, all day and all night long. On July 3 we camped in Winona, a few steps from the Mississippi’s shore. A breeze might have relieved our torment, but not a whisper of wind was with us. Though we removed the rain fly from our tent, we lay awake for hours, mosquito-marked and miserable.
