I wonder if I ever mentioned the recent single occasion of unpleasantness between me and a neighbor gentleman who may or may not be a buffoon? I’m suspecting he is, overall, but my putting that term in print reminds me I do not like to call names. It is such a lovely word, though, buffoon. Try it. Whisper it out loud. Now, tell me, don’t your lips and heart feel light when you softly loft that syllable-and-a-half? Buff-ffoooon!
Whisper it once, but let’s not exhale this word, dear, where anyone else can hear.
