I’m going out to a funeral visitation (mother of high school “sophomore girl”) and then inviting a friend (someone over 114 pounds) to come watch me make cinnamon rolls (for —). — called from the hospital in —. His gut is full of cancer. Surgery for bowel obstruction today. He’s talking with hospice. I spoke with our —, who was visiting him when I called him back. “—” to whom I sent cards died of apparent drug overdose last night. Early departure tomorrow for —. — coming in at 2:30PM. I’ll check for mail in the course of the evening. Hope to hear more about your so-so.
