When Dad finished at the skin doctor at around noon, he and Rick and I went to Sun Prairie Costco, where we did a hundred dollars worth of shopping and sampled maybe a dozen food items, about half of them main-course fare. Dad and Rick were still hungry, but I was not. While they bought hot dogs, I took our purchases to the car. (Some items had to go into the ice chest.) I went back into the store and found The Boys still eating, so I ordered a Berry Smoothie and sat with them. As we were leaving, a generic Wisconsin couple walked toward us, toward the hot dog stand. They looked familiar to me, but in a generic Wisconsin way. Dad and Rick didnt seem to recognize them, and the generic Wisconsin couple hesitated before greeting Dad and Rick. When we exchanged pleasantries, though, we figured out the people were from the Ninian church, and the woman had been on the Israel tour with Dad and Rick in January. I asked her, Did you go to greet the Honor Flight last Saturday night? She said she had. I said, I think I might have put your picture on my Web site today, half of your face. Rick brought out his iPhone and showed her the PoD, and the woman said, No, this is Dale, hugging your dad. I said, Not that half a face, this other half a face. Oh, ja, she said, thats me. Well, dang, I said, heres the one day out of a hundred when I dont bother with a model release, and I run into my model in Costco! ♦
