Glad to hear your avoidance of wheat and sugar seems to be paying off.
I'm going out shortly to push an inch of snow. I hope to beat Tom to the task and perform my cousinly obligations for Barry (in Florida till Tuesday) and the Broussard clan. If Tom were not such a speed demon, I'd wait for the flakes to finish falling.
Keep me posted on your Saturday escape.

Oh, goodness! I'm not sure you realized I was teasing you. Overdue, overdo? Overby Jonathan? If I understand what you mean by Not necessarily, this strand of conversation may be coming undone. Overdo, overdid, overdone. Do you recall the opening notes of the Dragnet theme? (Over)done, done, DONE, DUMB!
The snow stopped, and I cleared the several sidewalks and driveways without bringing on a heart attack, but now, looking out the window, I see my good work is getting snowed over again. A bit chilly, ten degrees, no wind. I took your plate of apple cake to the Girodets and spoke with Tom; we don't plan to shovel again until tomorrow.
Speaking of overdoing things, I accidentally ordered three cranky-old-man Netflix disks in a row. The Sunshine Boys, Nebraska, and, coming on Monday, About Schmidt. Dad enjoyed the first two; I expect he'll do fine with the suddenly widowed Jack Nicholson. Also coming Monday, Jack Goes Boating. How about that for another coincidence! Two Jacks are in the cards.
