On Saturday morning, when David Fischer went to warm his breakfast in his microwave, he discovered a bowl containing 3T melted butter. Only in that instant did Fischer realize the butter was absent from a loaf of challah he had made on Friday afternoon. The challah had not been chorrible. As a matter of fact, Fischer and a friend had remarked that the challah was a little chewy, but Fischer, when assembling the ingredients, had twice or thrice reviewed the written recipe and never for a moment suspected he had left anything out.
