All Rights Reserved.   2007 Forester (2014) © 2014 by Bud Grossmann A DIRTY LITTLE STORY 12-13-14 In 2006 David C. Fischer, with the help of his pal Nick Colombo, successfully installed three of four mud flaps on a newly purchased Subaru Forester. The fourth flap proved uncooperative, and Fischer, a bit of a procrastinator, never quite, in eight years’ time, got around to putting it in place despite Nick’s occasional encouragement. The vehicle, seldom washed, always looked better on one side than on the other, but never in those eight years did anyone but Nick ever remark on the difference. If you would ask Fischer today which flap is missing, he would have to look to tell you. But guess what?
