reading aloud an article
about the long-dead doctor, pro-
nounced his name as “Sigmoid Freud.”
The RN’s spouse said, “Oh! I like
that rhyme! I hesitate to say I like
your slip, because I don’t wish to
banal-ize what others might wish to anal-yze.”
