Ha! Well, that is a long-awaited beginning, I suppose. I would, however, ask lawmakers in Florida and throughout our land to do more.
I would say,
Don’t be shy.
Please defy
the N.R.A.
in a big, bold way.
Aside from Wayne LaPierre’s calling you names and withholding the bribes (no offense) for which you legislators have so thoroughly shown your appreciation, what’s LaPierre gonna do, shoot you?
Be brave,
be bold.
Let schoolkids
live to grow old.
