A DOGGED PURSUIT OF ART
This past week, when I began to put up several PoDs of people leaning out, looking out, of open windows, all on one occasion in 1973, one of my faithful fans asked, What are all the window people looking at?

I started to reply: Warm summer day, coming up on suppertime. I was traveling alone on an unlimited-travel Greyhound pass while ...
|
I could have gone on. Oh, boy, could I have gone on! But at that point I realized it might be sufficient to say, There were lots of folks idling about on the streets and sidewalks of the neighborhood near the bus station. People in windows were looking at neighbors and kids and me.

Later, I found a few more Kodachromes I took on that same summer afternoon. Here are a couple of them.
