On Friday afternoon,
using an ice scraper,
I cleaned weeds, about
a bushel’s worth, out of
our sidewalk cracks and
felt pretty pleased with the
project. I had no great regret,
suffered no special shame,
for my not having done it
with a weed whacker
and Roundup on a
sunny summer’s
day.
But, brrrr!
Maybe
next
year!
