Took a tumble. |
Outside on porch. Old loose fitting slippers did not turn when my body did. Ouch. Bruised knees, banged wrist and elbow. Would have preferred to be wearing jeans when I had to kneel on porch boards to get up. Ice and homeopathic remedies.
More later.

Another day among the elderly. |
I wish I could lose weight. I think that would help my foot issues.
Well tomorrow is a new day. I’ll send an ugly bruise photo tomorrow, if it becomes an ugly bruise.
Wishing you a restful sleep.

Frozen corn works as well as peas as an ice pack.

Re: BTW |
I am sure you are experienced and cautious, but do you remember the boy in Peter’s class with mom from Japan and elderly haole dad? I can’t recall their names. But, anyway, the mom fell and injured her hip and put a bag of frozen peas on it and took a nap. When she woke she was hurting bad enough to go to the Hawaii Kai Kaiser Clinic. The E.R. docs were unfamiliar with treatments for frostbite, and this was in the olden days, before we Googled things, so they phoned a hospital in Alaska for advice. That’s what she told me, anyway.
Moral: Stay alert while practicing medicine with comfort vegetables.
Love, Dave

Love that story! I had a fairly thick dishtowel between me and the frozen stuff.
