While traveling in Maine five years ago, Carol made a portrait of two men posing informally and looking directly into her camera. I have looked long and hard at the photograph, and I think if I were not well acquainted with one or the other of the men, I would not be sure as to whether they were twins or brothers or just what they were. And if they are not twins, I am not even sure I would correctly guess which one is older. Here’s the picture; maybe you will tell me what you think.
